I have used LabView to create several *.avi files. Many of them are just
fine but the ones above 60GB (yes that's huge) I am not able to playback.
These files are important and I was trying to convert them to wmv, but even
the converter doesn't allow these bigger files to be converted. At this
point, is there a solution or are these files lost?

Try using Windows Media Encoder to convert these uncompressed avi files to
wmv. But you have to try different profiles for the output quality.
Hope it works.
Good Luck!
