When I play a Mpeg vidoe clip, I can watch the clip but there is no sound.

I am using Version 11 and the technical support information is as follows

Assuming the video labelled MPEG is actually DVD video (MPEG2) :
Most commercial DVDs use AC3 audio, also called Dolby digital audio.

That decoder would normally be provided in one of the DVD decoder
products listed above (Sonic, Cyberlink) - as you can see the
Cinemaster specifically mentions "No Dolby".

So first off, I'd start by reinstalling just the Cyberlink DVD
software, it's possible that might provide a decoder which Sonic has
hosed (overwritten) with it's audio decoder.

If that doesn't have any impact, head over to AC3Filter site
http://ac3filter.net/projects/ac3filter and see if installing the AC3
audio decoder from there helps restore your sound.

You felt compelled to quote all of a 21-month old post but without
responding to it? I doubt Chua has been waiting that long for a fix
